Summer Ruckus is upon us!

First Tuesdays: in collaboration with the Pleasant Street Neighborhood Network Center, the Dirty Gerund is supporting an all ages sober open mic series that will kick off July 7, and if it goes well, return August 4! Join us for a Pleasant Poetry Reading from 7 to 9 PM in their community space on Pleasant Street.

Saturday July 25 at 230 PM, join us in the main Worcester Public library Banx room for an afternoon of poetry. Bring printed copies of your poems ready to share and workshop as a group!

Sunday August 9 at 330 PM, join us at George’s Coney Island for an all ages open mic followed by the glorious return of the Iron Poet round 1 qualifier! Sign up for the iron poet with Nark ASAP.

Keep an eye on our social media for any updates, (if there are any last minute Nark will typically share to our instagram story and many of our regulars will repost to get the word around), and feel free to drop questions in the comments.

Note These events will NOT take place on Mondays. Our regular weekly show is 21+ both inside and outside. Please do not come to Ralph’s for poetry night until you are of age and have a valid ID for the door. The door staff rotates and they will walk across the patio to check your ID, even if you’ve been a dozen times before. Please don’t get us in trouble by trying to sneak in, and join us at an all ages event elsewhere until you are of age.
