The Dirty Gerund House Band is not your beatnik poet bongos and jazz tunes… but they can probably make something close to that sound if that’s your vibe.
You’ll hear them, you’ll love them, our house band is here to back you up. They will be rocking all night every Monday and will be there to support you during your set, or take a break while you take the mic!
Feel free to ask them to give you space, or to ~assemble~ if they’re at the bar when you’re called up to read. All they need is a little direction, which can be as simple as, follow my lead.

I’ve been a regular member of the @dirtygerund house band for just about 3 years now. In that time, I’ve jammed with so many local musicians, all equally and uniquely talented in their craft. Each person brings a little something uniquely special to our space and makes our show a robust and enriching experience, never the same set twice. I am ever so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with them all, especially these guys that I’m currently rockin’ with here.
If ever I show up to a Gerund feeling sluggish, a session with these guys brings me right back around, reminds me that this is truly my favorite weekly activity, and I’m so lucky to get to spend it with them. I look forward to many more Mondays making music with these absolute mensches.
