Our Birthday Feature, this Monday: Nark Lizard is a poet, photographer, hypeman, and local cryptd of Worcester, Massachusetts.  Often described as the love child of Gonzo the Muppet and Fran Fine. As stated by another local poet mastermind “Along time ago Nark Lizard didnt exist and historians call that the Dark Ages. They were born here to make art, build community and make Worcester a place worth living.” They are currently the curator of The Dirty Gerund Poetry Show held at Ralph’s Rock Diner for the last 15+ years. Lizard uses poetry as an outlet to process grief, living with schizophrenia, depression and disordered eating. They hope to show the people of Worcester what poetry really means to this city and continue to grow this renaissance we are currently living through. You can usually hear them yelling a compliment at someone before you see them and find them with a cigarette and/or red bull in hand.
