mary schwab is a lot of things. among these is poet, aspiring singer-songwriter, former dance team kid, theatre adult, grad student, future therapist, and body-of-water lover. she was a member of the 2024 Boston Poetry Slam Team, the Voxpop 2024 Indies Champion, is a current Silly Little Guy, and frequently commits acts of psychological warfare throughout various New England poetry venues. her work explores themes of queerness, intimacy, spirituality, and what it means to live authentically in an absurd world. her poems have been featured in anthologies by Eber & Wein publishing and the Trident Poetry Collective. Texas born-and-raised but currently living in Boston, MA, in her free time you can find her wandering aimlessly around bookstores or gazing artfully at the Charles river.
