Can we get an, “OKAY POETT!” collectivly directed at Dirty Gerund Roadshow poet Ember, in love and admiration for taking home “Best Form” at the VoxPop Poetry Slam for their poem “Southern Comfort Manhattan” this weekend in New Hampshire? Ember competed in the Friday night indies as a representative for the Gerund and we are hella proud!

The Dirty Gerund is not a slam venue but it is a resource for slam-curious poets in Worcester county. Our  “Roadshow” organizes a rotating team of poets to dip their toes into the world of slam without the high stakes of qualifier season. If you’ve always wanted to try poetry slam, or even just learn more, come hang out on a Monday.
